Firefighters Respond to Hay Bale Fire on Stumphole Bridge Road

BRYANTSVILLE - Firefighters responded to a hay bale fire on Stumphole Bridge Road near Grandma Brown Road Sunday morning.

The fire was reported around 2:00 am Sunday, morning with firefighters from Huron, Indian Creek and Marion Township Volunteer Fire Departments called to the scene.

A controlled fire was originally reported in the area, several hours before the large pile of hay bales caught fire.

Firefighters suspect that winds carried the sparks from the controlled fire, unto the stack of hay bales several feet away.
