Update: Dogs escape residential fire- Firefighters On Scene Large Fire Bryantsville Road

BRYANTSVILLE - (November 28, 2021) -Several fire departments are on the scene of a large fire in the 1100 block of Bryantsville Road


” We want to let everyone know all of dogs got out safely, including Gunter, “said Sherry Tolbert.



The fire reported around 10:30 p.m. in a residence owned by Sherry and Randy Tolbert.



“We just received $3,000 worth of straw delivered which added fuel to the fire,” said Crystal Tolbert.



The business Hillside Boarding is all right and not affected by the fire.


Huron, Marion, Mitchell, Indian Creek and Shawswick Volunteer Fire Departments are currently shuttling water to the fire.


Ambulance crews from IU Lifeline Ambulance Service and Lawrence County Sheriff's Department are assisting at the scene.


No word on what caused the fire at this time. As of midnight, fire crews were still on the scene fighting the fire.
