LEESVILLE - ( January 16, 2022) - Firefighters are on the scene of a structure fire in Leesville.
The call came in reporting the fire just after midnight.
The home sits in the 4200 block of Leesville Road.
The home is not occupied however the fire department is keeping the fire from spreading to nearby structures.
Shawswick, and Pleasant Run Township VFDS in Lawrence County and Carr and Owen Township in Jackson County responded to the fire.
Seals Ambulance crews responded to stand-by as well as Indiana State Police.

No word on what sparked the fire. Jackson County REMC has been notified to disconnect the power.
