The fire was reported around 11:00 a.m. which took firefighters over one hour to get under control due to windy conditions. A farmer used his disk in order to help firefighters get the fire under control.
Most of the burn bans in southern Indiana now have been lifted. Only three counties in Indiana still have burn bans in place. These include Crawford, DuBois, and Warrick Counties.

However, fire officials warn that dry conditions remain, and property owners are asked to pay attention to weather conditions, and refrain from any open burning during windy conditions.
The cause of Saturday's fire is not known at this time.
