BEDFORD - FEBRUARY 28, 2023 - The City of Bedford approved the Indiana Opioid Settlement funds to be distributed to the Families Forever Organization.
The Bedford city council approved allocating $122,890.19 to the Families Forever organization that met the guidelines in the guidelines for the Opioid settlement that was awarded to local, county and state governments throughout the state.
The funds must be used for counseling, and treatment centers. The Families Forever has also applied for additional funds from Indiana FFSA in amount of $100,000 and must have that grant application in by April 18th.
Family Forever offers AA and NA meetings as the group helps those on the journey to recovery. There is a variety of other services provided by the organization. For more information call 812-329-6941. The office is located at 1129 16th Street in Bedford, Indiana.
