Emergency Personnel Working Traffic Accident on State Road 56 East of Salem

WASHINGTON COUNTY - (April 5, 2022) - A traffic accident was reported at State Road 56 and FireTower Road east of Salem Wednesday morning.

The accident was reported around 10:40 a.m.

At least one person was trapped in a SUV and had to be extricated from members of the Franklin Township and Salem Fire Department.

The extrication took about 15 minutes, and the patient was transported by Washington County EMS to St. Vincent Washington County Hospital.
