Emergency Personnel Working a two-vehicle accident at Main Street and State Road 37 in Oolitic

OOLITIC - NOVEMBER 15, 2022 - Emergency personnel is working a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Indiana State Road 37 and Main Street in Oolitic.

A two vehicle accident at Indiana State Road 37 and Main Street in Oolitic sends one person to the hospital

The accident was reported just after 10:00 p.m. Tuesday night.

One person was transported from the scene to IU Health Bedford hospital. One of the vehicles was over the embankment in the northbound lane of State Road 37 near Indiana Limestone.

There was no entrapment of the accident victims. The were no reports of serious injuries, and the occupants of the vehicle were walking at the scene.

At this time the accident is being investigated by the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department. Details of the accident are not available.

Lawrence County Sheriff's Department, Oolitic Volunteer Fire Department, IU Lifeline Ambulance, and Stone City Collision responded to the accident scene.
