ELLETTSVILLE - APRIL 17, 2024 - At 8:23 pm Ellettsville Fire Department, Monroe Fire Protection District, and IU Health Lifeline EMS were dispatched to a residential fire in the 6000 block of W. McNeely Street

First unit arrived and reported heavy fire conditions. It took firefighters until about 9:30 pm to get the fire under control.
Units used supply line from the nearby hydrant and had to close off the street for several hours. Residents reported evacuation was complete except for one dog.
No injuries reported.
Ellettsville Police Department assisted on scene. Red Cross was contacted for the residents.
