East Oolitic Bridge is re-opened following restoration project

EAST OOLITIC - NOVBEMBER 16, 2022 - The East Oolitic Road bridge is now re-opened following a restoration project. CLR was awarded the bid for Bridge Number 138 for a total of $592,138.

East Oolitic is now open after CLR completes the restoration of the bridge for $592,381

The bridge closed in August. The bridge required bearing replacement, and relocation as well as, removal of the bridge deck.

Emergency response was delayed to the East Oolitic area, and many residents inconvenienced by the closure.

CLR removes the final barricades on Wednesday afternoon

On Wednesday afternoon, crews were removing barricades and is now open to thorough traffic.

Residents are glad the bridge is finally opened.
