AREA - (January 28, 2022) - Driving conditions are poor throughout the State of Indiana as snow covered roadways have started creating slick conditions.
Bedford Street Department treated slick spots this morning.
Injury and non- injury accidents have been reported since early Friday morning when the first round of snow fell. By Friday afternoon, snowy conditions began with all the roads started to become snow covered and slick.
Motorists are asked to slow down and drive carefully as roadways have become slick throughout Southern Indiana.
In Monroe County a travel advisory is in effect.
The forecast calls for snow showers with clearing later in the afternoon.
