Domestic Violence still a major problem in Lawrence County and increases during holidays

LAWRENCE COUNTY - NOVEMBER 16, 2023 - Domestic violence around the holidays increases.

The Lawrence County Domestic Violence Coalition continues to educate the community and hopefully break this trend; that has literally left a black eye on the community.

Partnerships with the United Way and Hoosier Uplands have teamed up to educate the public, that domestic violence is not a acceptable behavior.

Break the cycle of violence and seek help and the resources needed to live a life free of fear of living in a abusive relationship.
