Developing story: City of Bedford Condemns Southview Terrace Apartments

BEDFORD - JULY 7, 2023 - The Lawrence County Zephyr has reached out to Bedford Planning Director Brandon Woodward in regards to the City of Bedford who has condemned several apartments located at 29th Street and Ted Jones Drive.

At this time none of the tenants have been evicted, and no one is expected to be evicted from their apartments at this time.

Because the Lawrence County Zephyr learned of this late Friday afternoon the offices of Bedford Planning Department was closed, and Lawrence County Zephyr will reach out to Southview Terrace Apartments on Monday morning during regular business hours.

The latest, is the in addition to the City of Mitchell Planning Department giving the tenants at 615 Main Street an eviction notice.
