BEDFORD - JULY 21, 2022 - Dr. Ty Mungle told the school board members during their meeting Thursday night that the schools should be ready for opening with proper staffing levels.
The Job Fair hosted by the North Lawrence Community School Corporation was well attended for the hiring of Custodial Staff and Instructional Assistants. 12 people attended the job fair. The corporation is still looking at the staffing levels for the elementary schools with 3-5 teachers after the opening of schools.
Chartwells have hired couple extra cooks to start of the school year and is fully staffed and ready to go.
The school board voted to allow Dr. Ty Mungle to hire necessary staff to get the schools fully staffed at the opening of the school year.
