MITCHELL - MARCH 16, 2023 - A death Investigation is underway following a death of a small child at the Boots and Bows Daycare located at 607 Teke Burton Drive in Mitchell.
At 2:37 pm Wednesday afternoon emergency personnel from the Mitchell Police Department, Mitchell Fire Department and IU Lifeline Ambulance was dispatched to reports of a small child that was not breathing.
Officials have confirmed that a small child has died and the investigation has been turned over to the Indiana State Police. The Indiana State Police has not released any details on the incident or the investigation.
