False Registration Leads to Possession of Suspected Methamphetamine
Orange County – November 30, 2023 - Wednesday evening, November 30th, Trooper Mackenzi Alexander stopped a vehicle for having a plate belonging to another vehicle on SR 37 in Paoli.
Trooper Alexander became suspicious of drug activity and a Paoli K-9 unit was called to assist on the scene.
The K-9 detected the presence of narcotics, and a search was performed. Small amounts of suspected methamphetamine were located on the driver, William Raines, and inside the vehicle.
Raines was arrested without incident and transported to the Orange County jail where he is being held on bond.
