LAWRENCE COUNTY - SEPTEMBER 21, 2022 - Rural healthcare has been challenging enough with the lack of ambulance coverage in Lawrence County. Now, that Lawrence County is losing its only OB/Delivery hospital with the departure of St. Vincent Dunn Hospital, health care for women is in a critical stage.
Retired Dr. Debrorah Craton reached out to the Lawrence County Zephyr in an interview that sounds an alarm for the Lawrence County and surrounding counties for women's healthcare.
Lawrence County Zephyr is working on a feature on what the healthcare system looks like for women in Lawrence County.
