City of Bedford Receives $100,000 grant for two projects

BEDFORD - JANUARY 17, 2023 - The City of Bedford has been awarded a grant for two projects.

The first project is to work on the signage and appearance of the limestone derrick that welcomes travelers to the City of Bedford on the southside along Indiana State Road 37.

The second project is the "Land of Limestone" project that will be installed on the bottom floor of the Stonegate Arts & Education Center.

A total of $100,000 have been awarded through the ROI Ready Community 2.O grant.

Mayor Craig wanted to thank those that put time and effort into the grant and is pleased to see these two projects will get funded. The grant will help with the beautification of the city.
