BUILDING FIRE UNDER INVESTIGATION TUNNEL HILL ROAD IN MONROE COUNTY

MONROE COUNTY - NOVEMBER 23, 2022 - Monroe Fire Protection District responded to Tunnel Rd this morning for a structure fire.

Dispatch received multiple calls on the fire from individuals reporting different locations of the fire creating a lot of confusion for the exact location.

Fire crews from Engine 24 spotted the correct location of the fire and reported a small outbuilding heavily involved with fire.

Crews were able to quickly knock down the fire along with a small brush fire that was caused from embers off the shed.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
