Brush Fires and Woods Fire breaking out Saturday Morning
AREA - November 5, 2022 - Brush and woods fires have broken out early Saturday morning in southern Indiana.

The Monroe Fire Protection District was dispatched to the first reported brush and woods fire in the 8700 block of Evans Road in Southwestern Monroe County Saturday morning. The windy and dry conditions are allowing fire to spread quickly. The fire was reported around 5:40 a.m. this morning.
At this time of the news story, it not known what caused this fire.
The Salem Fire Department was dispatched to a brush and woods fire in the 200 block of Delany Park Road in Washington County. Duke Energy reported a spark from a power pole, caused a fire. That fire was reported at 7:10 a.m. this morning.

A brush fire spread into a home on Friday on Garrison Chapel Road in Monroe County. Windy and dry conditions is making open burning dangerous at this time
Fire officials are recommending no outside burning at this time. A brush fire yesterday, spread into a home after a brush fire got out of control on Garrison Chapel Road in Monroe County.
Rain is expected to arrive later this weekend.
