Bloomington Firefighters Working a Structure Fire on Village Court

BLOOMINGTON - JUNE 9, 2022 - Bloomington Firefighters are working a structure fire on the city's westside.

The location of the fire is 430 South Village Court.

The 911 call came into Monroe County Central Dispatch around 4:10 p.m. Thursday afternoon. Firefighters have arrived to find black smoke billowing out of the duplex.

The fire has believed to have started in a kitchen of the residence. One person is being evaluated at the scene by medical personnel.

Bloomington Fire Department, Bloomington Police Department and IU Lifeline Ambulance Bloomington responded to the incident.
