BF&S Bridge Inspection Agreement Approved - Flynn & Sons Paving Roads This Summer

LAWRENCE COUNTY - (APRIL 26, 2022) - Interim Lawrence County Highway Superintendent Brandi Webb requested approval for BF&S to complete the bridge inspection on three bridges in the county.

These bridge inspections are outside the bridge inspections done in the county due to being closed or pedestrian bridges.

The bridges include:

• Bridge 172 - Cement Plant Road

• Bridge 128 - Williams Covered Bridge

• Bridge 52 - Sparksville Bridge

The work on the East Oolitic Bridge will begin about July and not be completed until November depending on the weather.

Webb reported that Flynn & Sons was the lowest bid on all highway paving projects this year. Lawrence County Commissioners approved hiring Flynn & Sons for the paving projects.
