Bedrock Bike Rally at Lawrence County 4-H Fairgrounds began Thursday
LAWRENCE COUNTY - SEPTEMBER 7, 2023 - The Bedrock Bike Rally began at the Lawrence County 4-H Fairgrounds Thursday.
The three-day event will help local veterans according to organizers of the event. " This will be a weekend of food, fun, music, entertainment and all supporting a good cause helping our local vets," said Jamie Deckard.

" You do not have to have a motorcycle to come and take part of this event, with something for everyone to just come out and enjoy the comrade among friends," added Deckard.
This is the second such event the group had this year with first event held earlier. The event raised about $3,000 for local veterans helping with various needs back in June.
On Friday, a Kid Rock tribute band with former Shawswick student, and former Lawrence County resident Don Souiters will be performing Friday night.

The event will have security at all times with Security Pro providing Security and the Marion Township Volunteer Fire Department will provide emergency medical coverage.
You must be 21 years old to enter the event.

The monies will be given to Dick Dunlap to distribute to the local veterans organizations. The goal is to turn this into a annual event supporting the local veterans.
