Bedford Police is Investigating a Shooting in the Parking Lot of the Hauck House

BEDFORD - MAY 12, 2022 - The Bedford Police Department is currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the parking lot of the Hauck House 1300 block of K street in Bedford.

A suspect is reported has been apprehended in the area of the former NAPA store located at 13th and K Street.

Complete details of this incident have not been released by Bedford Police Department

According to Bedford Police Chief Terry Moore there is no threat to the public. The Bedford Middle School was put on lockdown while the incident took place.

According to witnesses at the scene the Bedford Police responded quickly to the scene. The victim was taken to Bloomington Hospital and their condition is not known at this time.

Bedford Police has not released any details on the suspect.
