Bedford Parks Department Casino Trip Friday
BEDFORD - (February 16) - This Friday the Bedford Parks Department will be taking a group to the French Lick Casino. The cost of the trip is $15.00, and the group will be departing the Bedford Parks Department office at 10:30 a.m. and leaving the Casino around 3:00 p.m. There is still room for more people to attend, by RSVP at Parks Department Office.
Next Tuesday The Outdoor Series continues with " Back Yard Birds" the speaker will be Barbra Filtri from McCormick's State Park.
The program will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the Otis Park Bathhouse.
Attendees will be able to learn about what kind of birds, and how to care for them in your backyard. Interest is high with this class and RSVP by contacting the Bedford Parks Department office.

Father Daughter Dance will take place on March 11th at 7:00 p.m. which will be held at the 1st Baptist Church. Tickets are being sold until March 9th and no tickets will be sold at the door, RSVP at this time. To date 90 have signed up for the event. Ticket cost is $25.00 and $30.00 for two or more daughters.
2nd Session Volleyball will start on February 23rd, and adult basketball continues.
Adult Softball registration has begun, contact the Bedford Parks Department for more information.
Lifeguard classes will begin on March 5th. Any Questions about the course contact Luke Haskett at 812-797-8999. Class Dates: March 5, March 12, April 2, April 9, April 23. All classes will be held at the Bedford Pool. Must be 15 years of age Cost is $200 for certification. and $65 for recertification.
