Bedford Fire Department Responds to 5th and I Street Wednesday Evening

BEDFORD - SEPTEMBER 14, 2022 - Bedford firefighters from fire station # 2 were dispatched to the intersection of 5th and I Street around 6:20 p.m. Wednesday night.

Firefighters were putting water down a sewage hole just west of the intersection.

Bedford Utilities and Bedford Firefighters were dispatched for an odor investigation. There is no threat to the public and no chemical releases are involved. No evacuations have been ordered.

Bedford Fire Department is on additional calls which include an activated fire alarm as well as an emergency medical call.
