Bedford Board of Zoning Appeals Approve Variance

BEDFORD - (January 26, 2022) - The Bedford Board of Zoning Appeals approved a variance for Daryl Peterson's request for a variance to construct a pole barn on a vacant property.

The property located at 14th and F Street and the only reason for a variance is to be required there is no other structures on the property. Mr. Peterson appeared by zoom meeting to answer questions.

Bedford Mayor Sam Craig appointed Mel Rile to the Bedford Board of Zoning Appeals, Rile a familiar face to the Board as a former employee for the Bedford Plan Commission.

The election of officers was held with the officers remaining the same for 2022. The officers include Matt Parker, president, Steve Kimbley, vice-president and Brandon Woodward as secretary.
