ARREST MADE IN RAPE AND OTHER ALLEGATIONS IN DAVIESS COUNTY

DAVIESS COUNTY - NOVEMBER 23, 2022 - Indiana State police announced that early on Wednesday that CHRISTELLE THELUS, 29, was arrested by the Indiana State Police for the following allegations and arrested for rape: Level 3 Felony and public Voyeurism: Level 6 Felony, Intimidation: Class A Misdemeanor

Indiana State Police Senior Trooper Patrick Stinson, along with the Washington Police Department, initiated the investigation last month following a complaint.

Indiana State Police Trooper Stinson worked closely with the Daviess County Prosecutors Office during the investigation. Trooper Stinson filed for and was granted multiple search warrants where the Indiana State Police and Washington Police Department Crime Scene Investigators collected various items of evidentiary value.

Ultimately the Daviess County Superior Court issued an Arrest Warrant for Thelus. Thelus was taken into custody this morning without incident and is currently incarcerated at the Daviess County Jail on 100,000.00 Property or 10,000 Cash Bond.
