MITCHELL - SEPTEMBER 17, 2022 - The 75th Persimmon Festival began with a "Bang" Friday night. In order to kick off the historical festival year, a fireworks display was held immediately following the Mitchell Football game.
They are many events planned during this year's 75th Festivities with plenty of music, persimmon pudding contests, and a parade next Saturday that will bring large crowds.
Be sure to attend at least one evening of this year's festival.
