$1.2 MILLION IN NEW BUILDING CONSTRUCTION PERMITS ISSUED IN DECEMBER

BEDFORD - JANUARY 6, 2023 - The month of December construction has cooled down for the winter season, however this did not bring construction to a halt. The City of Bedford Planning Department issued its monthly report.

Stonebridge Health Campus

There was a total of $1.2 Million in New Building construction permits issued in the month of December. This included an additional building space at the Stonebridge Health Campus on Bedford's south side. That project had estimated construction costs of $1.1 Million, and solar panels were added at JA Benefits located at 1630 H Street in Bedford with a project cost of $146,000.

New residential construction of $415,000 was permitted for the month of December.

Two homes were demolished at 310 and 320 F Street on the city's east side.

There was a total of 16 permits issued for the month. Things will begin to thaw it for construction in March and April.
