$1.1 million construction of storage units on 29th Street begins in Bedford

BEDFORD - SEPTEMBER 6, 2023 - The Bedford Planning Department has issued its report for the month of August.

This includes a new commercial building permit for new storage units at 2519 29th Street in Bedford.

The construction costs for the first phase of the project is estimated at $1.1 million. This is the former location of Broadview Bowling Alley.

The Bedford Planning Department issued a total of 24 permits issued in August of these new residential construction continues to be the bright for the city.

The city issued at total of 8 new residential permits.

Total permits issued for August:

• Certificate of occupancy - 2

• Demolition - 1

• New public building - 1

• New residential construction - 8

• Residential no inspection - 6

• Residential with inspections - 5

• Signs - 2
